The Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Greenwich offers an in-depth exploration of the legal frameworks governing the international community and global markets. Designed for both law graduates and those new to the field, this program bridges national jurisdictions to address critical issues in U.K. and international law. Taught by an experienced team of academics and legal professionals, the curriculum emphasizes both substantive legal knowledge and practical, employer-valued skills. Key Features Accessible to All: The program is fully suitable for individuals who have not previously studied law. Professional Development: Students have the opportunity to take a year-long industrial placement following the taught modules to gain real-world business experience. Global Pathways: Through a unique partnership with the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in the United States, graduates can transition into a U.S. Juris Doctor (JD) program and complete it in just 15 months. Specialized Pathways Students customize their degree by choosing one of three endorsed specializations: Intellectual Property Law: Focuses on patents, designs, copyright, and trademark frameworks. International Commercial Law: Covers international trade laws, business regulations, and global shipping/financial contracts. Banking and Insurance Law: Examines U.K. and international financial regulations and banking laws.
