Overview

Throughout this two-semester Pre-Master’s programme, students will strengthen their English language skills by learning specialist academic language related to their subject area. Students will also develop a broad range of essential academic and professional skills, including: Business Language Academic Writing Critical Thinking Academic Research Presentation Skills Poster Presentations UEL's supportive and experienced teachers will guide students every step of the way, helping them reach their full potential. Students will learn through a variety of dynamic and engaging methods. These include discussions, presentations, lectures, small group tutorials, and personal tutor sessions. Each activity is designed to build students' confidence and prepare them for postgraduate study. The University of East London understands that academic success alone is not enough in today’s evolving business environment. To become an effective leader, students also need strong emotional intelligence, decision-making skills, resilience, and adaptability. These vital competencies are a key focus of the Mental Wealth module, which is integrated into this programme.
