Overview

Master of Science in Management - Business Analytics - Supply Chain - STEM is an approved Federal STEM degree program that emphasizes applied business analytics. This concentration examines key supply chain processes related to sourcing, logistics, and analytical modeling within manufacturing and service organizations. The program is structured to be completed in as few as two regular semesters of study and consists of 30 credit hours designed to provide both analytical depth and practical application. The curriculum is organized across three primary areas of study. Twelve credit hours are dedicated to Business Analytics core courses that focus on the development of analytical models, data provisioning, and evaluation of analytical outcomes in real-world contexts. An additional twelve credit hours are allocated to Supply Chain Management core courses that apply analytical techniques to in-depth supply chain functions, including strategic planning, sourcing, and logistics for products and services. The remaining six credit hours consist of electives, allowing students to tailor the program to align with specific career objectives. Graduates of the program acquire the technical skills necessary to streamline and optimize supply chain operations effectively. Alumni have also benefited from experiential learning opportunities such as participation in the Ohio Export Internship Program, which enhances practical understanding of international business processes and global supply chain operations.

OPT and STEM OPT eligibility depend on maintaining F-1 status and on the program. A program counts as STEM only when its CIP code is on the official STEM list — not because its name sounds technical.
