The BBus in Business addresses the critical role of business in the current global economy, highlighting its contribution to commerce, wealth creation, job generation, prosperity, and expanded choices. The programme provides students with comprehensive knowledge and skills to operate effectively at both operational and management levels within public or private sector organisations or as self-employed professionals. The curriculum covers a broad range of business principles and functions, offering a solid understanding of the modern business environment. The inclusion of a semester-long work placement in the third year allows students to gain practical experience, ensuring that graduates are prepared to contribute effectively to organisations immediately upon completion of the degree. Graduates of the programme can pursue employment across diverse areas, including human resources, sales, marketing, management, teaching (subject to postgraduate study), accountancy, banking, and financial services. Successful completion of this programme also enables progression to the Level 8 honours degree in Business at TUS.
