Overview

Program Description Students in this cross-disciplinary program will gain mastery over the available means of communication: audio production, visual elements, video recording and editing, and writing for print and the web. They’ll have the flexibility to customize their path, concentrating in one area or choosing courses across three available streams. In their coursework, students will learn to adapt to a range of contexts, produce new and familiar genres, and use a wide range of platforms as they hone their communication skills. In addition to coursework, students will get plenty of hands-on experience by completing internships, working on University-sponsored publications and productions, and partnering with real clients to solve problems using a variety of platforms. In their senior capstone project, students will complete a project they are passionate about and produce a portfolio that markets their skills to public and private organizations.
