Overview

This Residential Junior summer camp program in Vancouver offers students the opportunity to explore the city’s natural beauty while learning English and living on campus. Participants stay at the University of British Columbia’s Totem Park residence, attend English classes on campus, and interact with other international teen students throughout the program. Set at one of the world’s top 50 universities, the program takes place on UBC’s scenic campus, located near the ocean and surrounded by greenery. Students have access to campus amenities, can build international friendships, and participate in a variety of organized activities alongside their language studies. The program combines weekday English classes with daily activities from Monday to Friday, as well as full-day excursions on weekends. Evening activities are also included. The English curriculum is designed for teens and focuses on real-world topics such as current events, social and environmental issues, and popular culture. Key learning areas include Canadian culture, reading, speaking, and writing skills.
