Overview

Program Description The Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics (BSA) program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is designed specifically for students who work, have worked, or desire to work in aviation-related careers. For students with existing aviation-related knowledge and skills, this degree acknowledges a student's valuable acquired experience through the award of advanced standing prior-learning credit. The curriculum then builds on those skills and knowledge. The program also provides an opportunity for those students new to aviation to acquire aviation-specific knowledge through aviation-related coursework. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is recognized as a leader in the aviation industry, producing quality graduates who can successfully enter and succeed in the workforce. This program is accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) which requires a rigorous review of the curriculum to ensure the highest standards of performance, integrity, and quality are maintained. As a result, many Embry-Riddle graduates are recognized as trailblazers and exceptional leaders in the aviation and aerospace industries including military general officers, astronauts, and CEO’s.
