Overview

The MPhys Physics program is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of both theoretical and experimental physics, as well as a wide range of mathematical and computational skills. This four-year program, accredited by the Institute of Physics (IOP), offers a more in-depth study than the BSc course, enabling students to further develop their sophisticated knowledge of Physics. Students will have the opportunity to study alongside internationally respected physicists, whose groundbreaking work serves as the foundation for revolutionary innovations. In this exciting and amiable environment, students will have access to state-of-the-art apparatus, including lasers, X-ray sources, and electronics. The primary objective of this course is to prepare students for a career in industrial or academic research and development, education, or other sectors that demand a practical, numerate, and analytical approach to problem-solving.
