Overview

The MMath degree expands on the BSc degree to prepare individuals for high-level entry into relevant professions. It serves as a solid foundation for those interested in pursuing a research career. Students enrolled in this program will cover the same content as those pursuing the four-year BSc with a Year Abroad degree. In addition, they will undertake an extra year dedicated to completing a significant project. This project may involve conducting a survey on an area of mathematical theory not covered in taught modules, embarking on an introductory research project, or developing mathematical software. By choosing this degree, students not only delve into a research topic of their choice but also acquire vital project and time management skills that are highly sought after by graduate employers.
