Those who aspire to become a solicitor or barrister, this Law Conversion Course (Master's) offers a seamless entry into legal education while developing the essential skills for obtaining pupillage or qualifying work experience. As a non-law graduate or career changer, this Law Conversion Course (Master’s) is the first step in students' legal journey. The course develops students' knowledge and understanding of core legal principles, while building foundational professional skills. Through university's advanced approach, students' preparation for practice starts from day one. The Master’s element of this programme is a professional project, which allows students to conduct independent research in a specific area of law or practice which students are passionate about. It can be a great selling point in job applications, especially if the subject matter is aligned to a major practice area of a prospective employer. Students will receive expert guidance and support throughout the project from structured meetings with a tutor supervisor and additional online resources. Once complete, students will be able to continue their route to qualification either as a solicitor or a barrister. The Law Conversion Course (Master’s) is taught via workshops to small groups of students.
